Abstract

Changes that have taken place recently in the customs legislation of Ukraine in order to adapt to international and European standards were analyzed. In particular, the provisions of the new wording of the Customs Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "On Customs Tariff of Ukraine" were analyzed. Is emphasized that the simplification and harmonization of customs procedures, practices are important for international trade and economic development. The importance of the provisions of the International Convention on the simplification and harmonization of customs procedures for the further development of relations between customs authorities and business was stressed. The detailed analysis of international regulations on customs allowed to conclude that in recent years Ukraine has made a significant step forward in adapting national laws and customs optimization of customs procedures with international and European standards. Modern terms used in the revised version of the Customs Code of Ukraine agreed among themselves and with the provisions of the Kyoto Convention, and therefore domestic customs terminology adapted to some degree international
