Abstract

Gel filtration on a column of Sepharose 4B was tested as method for separating platelet fraction. The results of cytological and electrophoretic analysis showed absence of other blood cells and plasma proteins in the content of the resulting cell fraction. Obtained platelets were proved to keep morphological stability and retain the ability to aggregate in response to ADP – one of the main physiological inductors
