Ethical Approval Policy

Ars Linguodidacticae requires compliance with applicable Ukrainian legislation and internationally recognized ethical standards in research involving human participants, personal or confidential data, or other materials subject to ethical regulation.

Where research involves:

• human participants;
• the collection or processing of personal or sensitive data;
• biological materials

authors must confirm that appropriate ethical approval has been obtained.

For research conducted at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, approval should be granted by the University Bioethics Commission. Research conducted at other institutions must have approval from the relevant competent ethics committee.

Manuscripts must indicate:

• the name of the approving body;
• the approval reference number and date (where applicable);
• confirmation of informed consent from participants (where applicable).

If ethical approval was not required under applicable regulations, authors must clearly state this in the manuscript.
