Post-publication Corrections and Retraction Policy

The journal Ars Linguodidacticae is committed to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the scholarly record and reserves the right to introduce changes to published materials when circumstances arise that may affect their accuracy, ethical compliance, or transparency.

Depending on the nature of the issue, the Editorial Board may:

  • publish a correction in cases of technical or factual errors that do not affect the main findings of the study;
  • issue an editorial notice or clarification where additional explanation is required;
  • decide on the retraction of an article in cases of serious breaches of academic integrity, including plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, or major methodological flaws.

Decisions regarding corrections or retractions are made following an editorial review, with authors given the opportunity to provide an explanation. In the case of retraction, the article is not removed from the journal archive; however, a clear “Retracted” notice is displayed on the article webpage, in the table of contents of the respective issue, and in the PDF version, accompanied by a public statement explaining the reasons.

This policy is implemented in accordance with internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and aims to preserve trust in published research.
