METHODOLOGY OF STUDIES ENGLISH IDIOMS BY STUDENTS OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The article reveals the features of English idioms, their cultural differences from Ukrainian stable expressions, the specifics of translation and understanding. At all levels of learning a foreign language (English) there is a list of idioms and stable expressions that are provided by the program for learning and memorizing by students, as they give us an idea of the way of thinking, the culture of the people whose language we study, their mentality. Ignorance of special techniques leads to a complication of their memorization and use. The author of the scientific publication offers methodical techniques with concrete examples for easy study of stable expressions of the English language.
