UNIFICATION TERMINOLOGY OF DOCUMENTATION: PRINCIPLES AND FUNCTIONS

Purpose of Article. The purpose of the work is to identify the basic principles and functions of unification terminology of documentation. Methodoogy. The methodology of the study is to apply the descriptive method, based on the opposition and taking internal interpretation, and the method of analysis, which allowed us to determine the basic principles and functions of unification terminology of documentation. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the author’s desire to reveal the basic principles and functions of system unification of documentation terms. Conclusions. The solving of the problem of unification terminology of documentation is intended to increase the level of documented information fixation, achieving clarity, processes of social communication. The study is paid attention by the professionals of the documentary communication cycle.
