Purpose of the article consists in a study and comparative analysis of editions of libraries of Ukraine for youth about providing of access in a period social transformations that change kinds and orientation of publishing products, that influence on the process of forming and preparation of materials for young people. The methodology consists in the application of theoretical principles of the analytical and synthetic processing of information and comparative description of types of editions(electronic and printed). A scientific novelty consists in that in the conditions of globalization of the world and change of geopolitical situation, that influences on transformation processes in Ukraine, the evolution of forms and types of traditional and newest informatively-library resources. Conclusions. In the article the use of компаративного analysis is described in scientific researches of different spheres of activity, the specific of realization of компаративного analysis of informatively-library resources are distinguished in the period of social transformations in libraries of Ukraine for youth.
