PUBLIC POLICY AS THE SPHERE OF MODERN SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATION PRACTICES IMPLEMENTATION

The purpose of the article. The publication deals with the actual processes of forming a modern public policy space in the context of the development of an information society. The methodology of the research is to apply such general scientific methods as social-communicative, systemic, information-analytical. The scientificnovelty of the results is a thorough analysis of the main socio-communicative connections in the sphere of public policy as a synthesis of political action, scientific reflection, and acts of mass media communication. Defined the underlying mechanisms of interaction of power and society in the process of regulating modern political practices are determined. Conclusions. The vector of development of public policy as a sphere of realization of contemporary social and communicative practices allows us to conclude that the evolution of info-communications technologies largely determines the main trends in the event of modern society, the active implementation of which not only changes the existing structures of society but also leads to fundamentally new social phenomena. It is argued that politics as a critical segment of society’s development acquires new qualitative characteristics regarding implementing social and communicative practices.
