Ecological assessment of soil condition by bioindicative methods for the influence of livestock farms

Abstract

The basic principles of the influence of livestock farms on the state of soils in the sanitary protection zones and beyond their limits are substantiated. It is proved that bioindicative methods of studying soil toxicity status are the most accessible, fast and informative. The author has shown a clear regularity of the level of soil clearing outside the sanitary protection zones of livestock farms, but the size of these zones is not always sufficient for the complete clearing of soils from the negative impact caused by the activity of poultry and pig farms.
