Abstract

The structure and nature of the global fracturing of Yuzov basin are examined. It is shown that the high production rates of natural springs in this area are associated with the global fracturing. The vertical orientation of fractures and their increased water conductivity give reason to assume the technological liquids penetration in the fresh water horizons during hydraulic fracturing used in the production of hydrocarbons.
