Mobile applications for teaching athletics to physical education specialists

The article presents an analysis of the use of mobile applications for teaching students various types of athletics. Purpose. To determine the features of using mobile applications in teaching athletics to physical education specialists. Materials and Methods. Achieving the stated goal was based on the use of theoretical methods of pedagogical research. Results. It was found that the use of mobile applications in the educational process of physical education can optimize learning activities. Considering the specifics of athletics instruction, there is an opportunity to select practice-oriented mobile applications to optimize the physical education process for students. Conclusions. The obtained data indicate the appropriateness of incorporating mobile applications into the athletics curriculum.
