Pedagogical control of technical preparedness of young football players

The article examines the pedagogical control of the technical preparedness of young football players at the early stages of the training process. Purpose. To carry out pedagogical control over the dynamics and effectiveness of the technical training of young football players. Materials and Methods. The study was conducted among young football players (40 boys) in three stages from September 2023 to May 2024 in the town of Zaborol, Lutsk district, Volyn region. Four age groups of boys aged 7 to 10 years were examined. To achieve the objectives, the following methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation; generalization of advanced pedagogical experience; testing of technical preparedness; and methods of mathematical statistics. Results. Analysis of the results in accordance with the requirements of the youth sports school curriculum confirms that the indicators for ball control and shooting accuracy are at a low level. The indicators for ball juggling are at an average level. Conclusions. The testing results objectively reflected the dynamics of changes in the technical preparedness of young football players during the annual training cycle. Detailed analysis allows for the introduction of adjustments to the training process aimed at improving the athletes' technical skills.
