FORMATION OF THE CULTURE OF ORCHESTRAL PERFORMANCE ON FOLK INSTRUMENTS: THE EXPERIENCE OF GLINKA DNIPROPETROVSK ACADEMY OF MUSIC

The purpose of the article to characterize the specifics of the professional training of the artists of the orchestra of folk instruments, formed on the department of Folk Instruments of M. Glinka Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Music, in the historical aspect. Methodology is based on the cultural-artistic approach and historical, comparative, descriptive-analytical methods that allow to consider the evolution of orchestral forms of performing on folk instruments in the city of Dnipro and the influence of concert and festival events on the dynamic of the educational process. Scientific Novelty. First in the history of Ukrainian musicology is considered the orchestral practice of performing on folk instruments of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Conclusions. Traditions of professional training of orchestrates at the Department of Folk Instruments of M. Glinka Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Music was formed for 70 years. The specifics of this process are determined by the coexistence of the three teams, their complete set and unique concert practice, which is realized during the international festival “Music without limits”.
