The first group of this arrangements consists of the winter period songs – carols and shchedrivki, filled with joyful expectations of the Nativity of Christ. The second group includes of the spring cycle songs bearing the spirit of the renewed nature after the winter sleep. The collection presents the Kupala songs genre related to the day of the summer solstice, known as Ivan Kupala’s feast. For the first time, the arrangements of chumak songs, which are considered to be a unique phenomenon of Ukrainian folklore, has been published. Conclusions.
