To the Problem of Arrangements and Interpretations of J. S. Bach's Polyphonic Works on the Bandura

The purpose of the article. To designate the features of arrangements and perform interpretation of J. S. Bach's polyphonic works on the bandura. The methodology of the research is based on a systematic analytical approach with the allocation of musical-historical, etymological, textological, semantic, and genre-style musicological methods. The scientific novelty consists in revealing the methodological foundations for training a bandura player and characterizing the influence of polyphonic texture on the development of the bandura player's virtuosity, his artistic and figurative thinking. by mastering the richness of the composer's writing in the arrangement for the bandura of the works of J. S. Bach. Conclusions. The most important in the performance and arrangement is the style of J. C. Bach, which is associated with the specifics of his artistic thinking, which forms and reveals the understanding of music.
