The editorial staff of the magazine "Sports Games" respects the confidentiality of users' information and is committed to protecting their personal data.
1. Data collection and use
We collect data necessary for the editorial and publishing cycle through the OJS platform and email correspondence:
Authors: Full name, academic degree, affiliation, ORCID ID, work email address, and phone number.
Reviewers: scope of scientific expertise, history of review, and responses to manuscripts.
2. Purpose of data processing
Personal data is used exclusively for:
Registration and identification of authors in scientometric databases ( Crossref/DOI, Google Scholar ).
Conducting a “double-blind” review procedure.
Communications regarding the stages of manuscript review.
3. Confidentiality of scientific materials
Manuscripts. The texts of articles are considered confidential until their publication. Reviewers and members of the editorial board are strictly prohibited from using ideas or research results (for example, innovative training methods in judo or boxing) for their own purposes.
Data of research participants. The editorial board ensures that in the texts of articles the personal data of athletes who participated in the experiments are completely anonymized , unless separate written consent is given for their publication.
4. Data Disclosure
After an article is accepted for publication, only the data necessary for correct indexing is published in the open access: author's full name, institution name, city, country, ORCID, and contact email. Phone numbers and home addresses are never published.
5. Storage period and user rights
Data is retained throughout the life of the Publication to maintain an archive of scientific metadata.
The user has the right to request correction of their data or deletion of their account (if this does not conflict with the requirements for preserving the integrity of the scientific archive of already published articles).
6. Data security
The Publication website uses SSL encryption protocol to protect data transmission. Only authorized persons (technical editor, system administrator) have access to the user database.
