The total content of flavonoids in Isodon japonicus var. glaucocalyx (Maxim.) H.W. Li for stressful growing conditions is investigated. It was revealed that in the case of water deficit of more than 30 % the aboveground part of the plant contains a large amount of flavonoids – 61,79 mg/g. Attempts of a plant to adapt to adverse conditions, thus, contributes to its value of raw materials
