The article represents a retrospective analysis of properties of money and separate aspects of its influence upon the world’s economy. Defined were the properties of money, reasons and time for its origin and the result of its impact on economy, politics and the society. It was shown that the properties of money first influenced development of private business as a means of acquiring capital, loans and opportunity for crediting. Appearance of the properties of money as a function of accumulating and proportionality in evaluation of human labour invested into goods could not have a serious impact upon national economy. In retrospect five time intervals could be singled out (the stage of origin of money, since creation of new trade ways at the time of Mongol invasion, the beginning of prevailing of paper money in Europe and the rest of the world, the world’s capitalization of money and nowadays conflicts of money and the world’s economy). In retrospect it may be concluded that the properties of money assisted the development of national and monopolistic and inter-state economies, not promoting development of private business.References
