Abstract

The article emphasizes that the crew is primarily people who have their own psychoemotional characteristics and each of which is a unique individuality. We are talking about the need to effectively organize relationships within the ship's crew, which affect the quality and trouble-free operation of the vessel. Studies have shown that the greatest number of emergencies are caused not by technical mistakes, but by human errors. It is to the human factor that more and more research and scientific works, directives and resolutions of the International Maritime Organization have recently been devoted to human factors. The analysis of the causes of accidents from the point of view of the manifestation of the "human factor" on the sea transport contains information and analytical materials on the state of safety of traffic on the maritime transport of general use, for the transportation of which the license was issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. Based on the results of the analysis, specific systemic errors or deficiencies that led or contributed to the emergence of maritime traffic emergencies were identified, which should be taken into account during planning of measures to prevent the occurrence of such a crash of shipping with ships in the future. Analyzing the state of accidents for the period from 2010 to 2015, it can be stated that the quantitative indicator of the accident rate is surely going down, which indicates an increase in both the technical reliability of the boats, and the improvement of the crews, crewing and shipping companies as a whole, that is, improving the quality of the "human factor" ". An important mechanism for supporting a normal mental state is the creation of a positive social and psychological atmosphere. Each officer should remember that before him, first of all, a person, and only then an employee, subordinate, etc.
