ANALYSIS OF FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF THE MILITARY LIBRARY’S SITES CREATION

Purpose of Article. The study aims to analyze data and generalize the existing experience of the European and American military libraries Internet resources, their features, structure, and content. Methodology. The research is based on the general theoretical scientific methods – analysis and synthesis which allowed to study the features of the application and optimal characterization of foreign military-library’s sites as well as to conduct a comparative analysis of information resources of websites. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty of the work is centered in terms of the first-time analyse experience of creating and operating military libraries’sites in foreign countries. Conclusions.The military library work in the European and American countries provides a wide range of opportunities for employment and maintains the quality of life and well-being of members of the armed forces and their families. The analyzed international experience of the development and creation of military libraries’ sites promotes the corporate online resources, academic research, and an opportunity for comprehensive information retrieval with no boundaries. The comparative characteristics of the information resources of the websites reveal the opportunities and prospects for such experience introducing in terms of the national libraries.
