INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION SUPPORT OF THE CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Purpose of the article. The article examines the institutions of the field of culture in Ukraine, which form a separate system and cover a set of organizations and institutions that ensure the functioning of culture (popular and professional) in the cultural space of Ukraine. Methodology. The research methodology is based on the application of general scientific and unique methods of knowledge, in particular, analysis, synthesis, logical approach, the purpose of visualization of research results. Scientific novelty. The institutions in the field of culture, in directions, and the institutions that make up the objects and subjects of the area of culture and management functions are reviewed, governed by much special legislation in the field of culture. Conclusions. An analysis of the structure of state institutions in the area of culture showed that its social institutions are distinguished by socio cultural functions, types of activities and types of cultural product, the way of business and implementation of state policy in the cultural sphere. Institutions create and transfer for archival storage the documentary complexes that carry out documentation activities, as part of the documentary complexes of these institutions there are both official and unofficial documents of official and creative nature representing its development.
