Interdisciplinary integration as an element education quality management

The purpose of the work is to highlight the methodology of using interdisciplinary links of academic disciplines as a resource for the quality of education. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to perform the following tasks: establish the components of academic disciplines in the educational program "Social Communications and Information Activities" that contain interdisciplinary system links; to substantiate the innovative value of using the method of performing interdisciplinary integrated laboratory work in the educational process. The methodology is to use general and special methods to study innovative methods of educational activities. The methodological basis of interdisciplinary integration is competence and integrative approaches. The last of which involves structuring the acquired knowledge and improving the professional level of students in accordance with modern information requirements of society. The scientific novelty of the work is that the article describes the methodology of using interdisciplinary links of academic disciplines as a resource for the quality of education. Conclusions. The formation of professionalism, professional identity of the future specialist is based on improving the quality of education, the use of innovative methods of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the basis of interdisciplinary integration. The innovative value of interdisciplinary integrated laboratory work in the educational process is confirmed by a number of indicators of improving the quality characteristics of educational work: changing students' perception of academic disciplines as discrete modules; elaboration of a single package of educational materials through the practical application of knowledge and skills acquired during the study of parallel (previous) disciplines; visualization of the set of processes of search, processing, storage of information as a single technological cycle of bringing information to consumers; formation of students' systematic approach to the study of academic disciplines.
