The purpose of the article is to investigate the role of libraries as key institutions of Ukraine’s cultural resilience in the context of a full-scale war. The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines methods of cultural studies, library science, media communication and information security, which allows for a comprehensive assessment of the role of libraries in crisis conditions of the promotion of Ukrainian culture. A comprehensive approach was used that combines the analysis of secondary sources with content analysis of practical initiatives in the digital and cultural spheres. Sociocultural analysis was used to assess the impact of libraries on the preservation of national identity, information security and the development of cultural resilience of society. Scientific novelty. The role of Ukrainian libraries as institutions of cultural resilience in the conditions of full-scale war is studied, emphasising their ability not only to preserve knowledge, but also to actively promote Ukrainian culture, counteract disinformation, and maintain social cohesion. Conclusions. Ukrainian libraries during a full-scale war demonstrate high cultural resilience, combining traditional functions with the strategic promotion of Ukrainian culture, information security, and social support of communities. Innovative practices, such as digitisation of collections, creative events, international cultural projects, and grant initiatives, significantly increase the effectiveness of libraries as multifunctional cultural hubs. The development of communication and media competencies of librarians is a key factor in countering disinformation and strengthening cultural identity. Libraries act as tools of soft power, strengthening Ukraine’s international image and providing access to reliable information for domestic and foreign users. Further development of this area depends on systematic state support, expansion of funding, training of specialists and creation of inter-sectoral alliances that allow libraries to stay at the forefront of modern cultural processes. All of the above makes libraries key institutions of cultural resilience of Ukrainian society during the war.
