Physical education of youth in terms of introducing health and recreation technologies into the educational process

The article presents indicators of the physical condition of 16–17-year-old youth in the context of implementing health and recreational technologies in the process of physical education. Purpose. To determine the impact of health and recreational technologies on the physical development and general health of 16–17-year-old youth within the educational process. Materials and Methods. The study involved 40 first-year students of a higher education institution. The methods used included surveys, physical fitness testing, and observation of fitness exercises implemented within the framework of a health and recreational training program. Results. It was found that the implementation of health and recreational technologies leads to improvements in the physical condition of young people, particularly in terms of endurance, flexibility, and strength. A decrease in stress levels and an improvement in the emotional state of the study participants were also observed. Conclusions. The obtained data indicate the appropriateness of incorporating health and recreational technologies into the educational process to enhance the physical activity of youth, support their psychophysical development, and maintain overall health.
