The research focuses on the importance of social workers in the field of mental health, as one of the key elements that ensure the well-being of the client, and contribute to good health in general. The article analyzes the recently approved Concept of Mental Health through the prism of the roles of a social worker. Within the scope of the Concept's activities, the tasks identified are those that, within the scope of their competence, can be performed by a specialist in the social sphere. According to the project, the social worker's demand for the provision of mental health services is determined on the basis of this document. We consider the sphere of mental health as an important direction for the work of specialists in social work. Here, a social worker can realize himself through the role of a clinical consultant, mediator, teacher of social skills, consultant organizations, analyst, expert, researcher, creator of laws and programs, supervisor, staff manager, and teacher. For the implementation of the designated roles of a social worker in the field of mental health, appropriate professional training of future specialists is necessary, especially in the context of specific knowledge about the field of mental health.References
