Lyubchuk O., Yarchenko Y. The problem of development of the market of qualifications for the tourism industry in Ukraine.

Abstract

The article considers the most important conditions for the development of the world market of tourist services on the basis of positive and negative influence factors. The article demonstrates the need to improve professional training for the development of the qualification market in Ukraine. In addition, in the article the components of the concept of training specialists in the field of tourism are developed on the basis of the professional standard. The article specifies the features of professional standards for post-industrial society. It has been determined that the competencies of the professional standard should include basic labor functions, additional professional competences, personal and social competencies. Acquiring these competencies for the tourism industry should include the functions of psychophysiology  and personality traits that are characteristic of a tourism specialist.

Found that a specialist in tourism should be formed: the ability to work in a team, the ability to partner in interaction, the ability to make integrated decisions, the ability to design projects.

In accordance with the requirements of the market of qualifications, the training of tourism professionals should include both studying in a higher education institution and industrial practices at tourism industry enterprises and additional training. There is a review of the directions and principles of the Confederation of Employers to develop professional standards for the development of the national economy in accordance with the requirements of the qualification market in Ukraine. The article shows that training specialists on the basis of professional standards eliminates the problem of "overstated" business requirements and allows to form the necessary behavioral stereotypes and business qualities on the basis of certain competencies for the qualification market.
