Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study the evolution of education system of bandura players. The methodology of research comprises methods of system, historical, pedagogical, musicological and art analysis based on the principles of comprehensiveness and consistency. Scientific novelty of the research lies in the analysis of the evolution of bandura player education system from the beginnings to the present day. The mechanisms of the cause-and-effect relations of evolutionary changes in the instrument design, performing repertoire and the bandura player training system in different historical periods are traced. Conclusions. Modern multi-level system of continuous professional education of bandura players is the result of the evolutionary development of the kobza-player training system of XVII-XVIII centuries, which traditions were inherited and integrated organically. The bandura player education system developed in relation to the evolution of the instrument design and the genre-style variety of the repertoire. The most significant changes in the system of professional training of bandura players occurred during the academicization of bandura art in the middle of the twentieth century.
