Cultural value of Ukrainian song heritage of Kvitka Cisyk

The purpose of the article is to investigate the cultural value of the Ukrainian song heritage of K. Cisyk. The research methodology consists in the use of leading scientific methods in an interdisciplinary combination, which gives a cultural orientation to the study of the Ukrainian song heritage of K. Cisyk. The purpose and objectives of the research led to the use of an axiological approach, which made it possible to outline the value of the Ukrainian song heritage of K. Cisyk in the musical culture of the Ukrainian diaspora and the modern culture of Ukraine. The method of analysis and systematisation made it possible to comprehensively analyse the song output of the singer and determine its place in the cultural processes of today. Scientific novelty. The article examines for the first time the cultural value of the unique song heritage of K. Cisyk – musical albums of Ukrainian songs “Kvitka – Songs of Ukraine” and “Two Colours”. Conclusions. Academic interest in the Ukrainian song heritage K. Cisyk emphasised the importance of its contribution to the development of musical culture, including the development of cultural policy. The Ukrainian music albums “Kvitka – Songs of Ukraine” and “Two Colours” have significant cultural value, having been recognised as artistic achievements in the context of cultural diplomacy. Today, these albums not only preserve Ukrainian folk music, but also actively contribute to its revival and popularisation among Ukrainians around the world. Ukrainian songs performed by K. Cisyk became a symbol of cultural memory and national pride, prompting many Ukrainians to support and restore their cultural roots, especially during the period of the russian federation's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
