The purpose of the article is to characterise the creative and technological solutions of "The Beatles" and to determine the band's place in the development of popular music culture and rock music in particular. The research methodology consists of applying an analytical method and an integrated approach, which made it possible to consider the work of ‘The Beatles’ as an integral phenomenon in the context of a combination of various musical styles and the introduction of technological innovations in sound recording in the process of creating creative developments. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time in the Ukrainian scientific dimension, ‘The Beatles’ were identified in the context of creative and technological experiments and innovations that influenced the further development of popular musical culture. Conclusions. ‘The Beatles’ left their mark on the development of musical culture in the global cultural space. It has been proven that the creative works of the band are characterised by multi-elements, both in terms of content and the idea of writing arrangements, using musical instruments, sound processing and general sound. The artistic value of the band's songs and albums, as well as the important role of the band's music in the aesthetic education of creative youth, were determined. Attention is focused on innovative technological solutions for sound processing in the sound recording process, which influenced the further development of the recording industry. One of the most important aspects that marks the work of ‘The Beatles’ is emphasised — the combination of different musical styles. Performing skills, which are multi-layered, are analysed.
