Abstract

This study determines levels of homeostatic and breeding values of winter wheat of different geographical and genetic origin. Winter wheat vari- eties were studied in years with contrast weather conditions (2009-2010). It proves lack of justification for sowing the majority of West European varie- ties in a forest-steppe of Ukraine.
