Abstract

The results of the use of intraspecific and intergeneric hybridization in winter bread wheat breeding are discussed. The possibility of use of hexaploid triticale in recombinant breeding of winter bread wheat has been demonstrated. Unlimited possibilities of genetic recombination in intraspecific and intergeneric crosses are discussed. Transgressive and introgressive genotypes of winter bread wheat have been developed which exceed the standard varieties by yield ability, resistance to major diseases, and other economically important traits and properties
