Abstract

The results of investigations of 2 selfed lines from Ukraine, 3 local vari-eties of sugar corn and 3 local ones of wax – like corn are shown. Ihey were introduced from Sintszyan Ograrian Academy (China) in accord with the mutu-al investigations‟ program for original material exchange with selfed lines of corn and their inclusion into hybridization of local varieties and populations and corn forms introduced, for the development of selfed lines. These speci-mens are characterized by stable manifestation of productivity, growth intensity and dry matter accumulation, they can be used in breeding programs
