Monitoring of main quantitative traits and their variation at the different phases of ontogenesis is shown. 2000 selfed lines have been studied and systematized from 2000 to 2008 ys. Some lines with the different systems of adaptivity have been selected, in which under the influence of drought at the different stages of ontogenesis their producing ability is stabilized due to the improved and stable 1000 kernel weight. Several tolerant and drought – resistant lines have been singled out and they can be used in a heterosis breeding in dry conditionsDownloads
