Plant Breeding and Seed Production practices an open access policy towards published contents, supporting the principles of free dissemination of scientific information for the general social progress.

The Editorial Board, within its competence, takes the necessary measures to comply with copyright in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights", international rules of copyright protection and international publishing standards. Authors of articles should adhere to the principles of academic integrity to ensure confidence in scientific results. This includes:

– Rule of law, compliance with the copyright law and related legislation;

– Providing references to sources of information when using ideas, concepts, results, statements, data, etc.;

– Providing reliable information about methods, techniques, results, other scientists’ and own research activities;

– Conducting expert evaluation only in the field of your competence in accordance with your knowledge and experience;

– Adherence to the equality principle upon expert evaluation, banning any race-, political views-, cultural or social affiliation-, religion-based or other discrimination.

The authors have exclusive rights to the submitted scientific manuscript and transfer such non-exclusive rights as publication of the article, its placement on the Internet and on the journal’s site, use of metadata of the article, translation, distribution and inclusion in various search engines, scientific databases, to the publisher. The authors have the right to distribute their article independently with a mandatory reference to the edition.

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the concept, performance, or interpretation of research results. Individuals who have been involved in some important aspects of the research project (academic writing editing, some calculations or measurements, translation, etc.) should be mentioned in the Acknowledgments section.

The author responsible for correspondence with the Editorial Board must ensure that the names of all project participants are included in the list of authors.
