Невизначеність батьків у планах та освіті дітей українських біженців у європейських країнах: пілотне дослідження

Анотація

Мета цієї статті – краще зрозуміти рішення батьків щодо навчання своїх дітей в умовах невизначеності планів. Стаття зосереджена на двох аспектах. По-перше, автор показує, як, навіть за наявності достатньо сприятливих механізмів інтеграції в приймаюче суспільство, терміновий статус захисту та значна матеріальна підтримка, а також невизначеність впливають на досвід батьків-біженців зі статусом тимчасового захисту. Автор також хоче показати, як у період найбільшої невизначеності в планах батьків-біженців дистанційна освіта робить свій особливий і помітний внесок в освітню стратегію вимушено переселених школярів. Опитування було повністю анонімним, у ньому взяли участь 160 респондентів, 65 з яких зараз проживають у Німеччині, 61 у Польщі та 34 у Великобританії. У пілотному дослідженні взяли участь батьки з трьох країн – Польщі, Німеччини та Великої Британії. Це країни, які прийняли найбільшу кількість українських біженців. Було зроблено висновок, що бажання реалізувати всі можливі стратегії в освіті своїх дітей є найвищим серед тих, хто перебуває в стані найбільшої невизначеності. Такі батьки схильні продовжувати навчання дітей дистанційно в Україні та паралельно в місцевих школах. Подібна стратегія створює зайве навантаження на дітей і, можливо, погіршує їхню адаптацію в місцевих школах, але, на думку батьків, страхує дітей від можливих прогалин в освіті. Автор вважає, що міністерствам освіти приймаючих країн необхідно розробити більш гнучкі критерії варіантів продовження освіти для різних груп дітей-біженців, залежно від їхнього віку та планів батьків щодо повернення додому. Як приклад, у тих державах, де у українських школярів є обов’язок відвідувати школи, було б доцільно запровадити можливість навчатися тільки дистанційно в Україні, якщо це відповідає інтересам такої групи дітей. Також необхідно здійснювати моніторинг стану освіти тих школярів за кордоном, що навчаються виключно дистанційно в Україні
