COMPETENCE APPROACH IN TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE SOCIAL WORK TO PROVIDING SOCIAL SERVICES

The problem of professional training of future specialists in the social work to providing social services is disclosed in the article. The issue of combination of professional training and the process of personal growth of the future specialist of social work is actualized. The complex of methods is used: analysis of scientific literature, normative legal documents, comparisons and generalizations; systematic, summarizing and prognostic method. The competence approach in training of specialists of social work to providing social services is disclosed, that is, the educational process in the Higher education institution should be built in such a way that during the educating of students that are future specialists in social work, the relevant competencies for providing social services have been formed. It is noted that the educational, methodical, and meaningful providing of the system of training of future specialists in social work to providing social services consists of an educational program, curriculum, working curricula, syllabuses, which maximally reflect the set of requirements for the nature and level of professional and social competence, personal development and qualities of future specialists of social work. The Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, Standards of Higher education: of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 23 Social work, of specialty 231 Social work, qualification characteristics of the profession “Specialist in Social Work” and “Social Manager” regarding the conformity of the content are analyzed. The need to review the educational components of training of specialists in social work in the field of providing social services in part of the formation of the general and professional competencies in order to conformity the professional suitability of graduates to the requirements of the labor market is detected. It is accentuated that the quality training of specialists in social work to providing social services depends on the logic of the building of the educational process, conformity of the structure of the educational program, its content by academic disciplines to state and professional standards, which are focused on the formation of general and professional competencies, teachers' understanding of the content and structure of future professional activity of students, introduction of informal and dual education, close cooperation with stakeholders.References
