Introduction. Acute intestinal infections, despite the achievements of modern medicine, are still diseases that pose a threat to health and life of many people. Aim. To study and analyze the current Ukrainian market of registered medicinal products for the treatment of acute intestinal infections as on October 2023 and to develop proposals to meet the demand of patients for domestic medicines. Materials and methods. The information base of the study included data from scientific periodicals, Internet sites, the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine, the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification system, and Compendium. The following methods were used to study the range of medicinal products used to treat acute intestinal infections: statistical, systematic, comparison, forecasting, marketing, grouping and structural analysis. Results. According to the results of the research, as of October 2023, 169 medicines for the treatment of acute intestinal disorders were registered in the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine. The studies have established the dominance of domestic enterprises by origin of the manufacturer; by dosage form – solutions for infusion and tablets; in composition of medicines – monocomponent.
