Intensification of thermal decomposition of sodium and calcium hypochlorite
Keywords:sodium hypochlorite and calcium, cavitation
AbstractThe process of decomposition of sodium and calcium hypochlorite by thermal and cavitation methods is investigated. It is found that the rate of decomposition of hypochlorite increases sharply due to changes in method of heat supply: the bubbling of vapour in the bulk solution to the dispersion of the solution in the volume of vapour, and also due to the activation of the cavitation process.
