The paper gives the results of the work of a heating system with heat-generating units. The main purpose of this work is the creation of autonomous heating systems with high flexibility of regulation. The main elements of the pilot sample are: heat source (HS), heat accumulator, convector and the automation system. The article gives the hydraulic circuit diagram. The authors propose to make an assessment of performance of this system by comparing the cost of heating during 2010-2011 (centralized system) and 2011-2012 (pilot system) years. Both monthly and seasonal statistics are presented in tabular form in this paper. The article is illustrated with diagrams of the temperature regime of the coolant, the indoor air and the heat flow at the output of the convector. The effectiveness of a pilot system based on HS is proved by comparing.
