It have been established that the starch granules‘s diameter and starch content in the grain of dent and waxy maize were inherited as the type of positive over-dominance, whereas the content of amylose in the starch of dent maize – as the type of incomplete dominance with the significant contri- bution of additive effects to the variance. The interactions gene : genotype for the amylose content in the starch of waxy maize were insignificant.
