The comparative analysis of continuous signal reconstruction on its discrete values by Kotelnikov series and spline functions on the samples of the signal characterized by higher amplitude steepness and sharp function increase is suggested in the given article. The obtained values of signal approximation errors by Kotelnikov series and cube spline allow us to confirm that under specific conditions more effective approximation method is spline function, but under some conditions is widely used Kotelnikov series. The recommendations for selection and application of signal reconstruction methods depending on its forms on the finite period have been developed. The question is to find another mathematic method which will allow us to decrease approximation error and will be more effective for above mentioned signal reconstructionReferences
