Approach to the classification of olympic sports on objective criteria in determining the degree of their extremal.

The paper analyzes the results of scientific and psychological literature regarding classification of extremeness in sport and identify the objective and subjective factors affecting the level of extreme in various sports. Empirically using the peer-review data were obtained, which allowed to classify Olympic Sports on objective criteria that define their extremity, without analysis of subjective factors
