Abstract

У статті розглядається формування поняття про розумову відсталість
у дослідженнях науковців різних країн, дається короткий огляд
психічним захворюванням від давнини до сьогодення в контексті
визначення інтелектуальної неповноцінності, показано формування
напрямку, прихильники якого намагаються у визначенні розумової
відсталості показати сукупність факторів: етіологічних (причинних),
патогенетичних (механізмів порушення мозкової діяльності), клінічних,
психологічних, соціокультурних, адаптивних, поведінкових та інших.
