Information about payment for processing and publishing articles

The Journal of Martial Arts is an open access publication. The editorial team does not receive any profit from the sale of content, therefore,  an Article Processing Charge (APC) has been established to cover the costs of the publishing cycle.
 

The price includes:

  • Technical check: plagiarism check, check for compliance with the format of the reference list (APA).
  • Review administration:  organizing the work of independent experts.
  • Editing and layout:  professional layout of the article according to the publication's standards.
  • DOI assignment:  registration of a digital identifier in the Crossref system.
  • Hosting and support: ensuring the site works and long-term archiving.

Contribution amount

  • The cost of publishing one article is: 35 UAH for each page (A4) of the submitted manuscript .
  • Payment is made only  after receiving a positive decision from the reviewers and accepting the article for publication. No fees are charged at the manuscript submission stage.

Benefits policy

  • Applicants for the third level of higher education in the budget form of training  are exempt from any payment (contributions) for the processing, review and publication of submitted articles completed by them alone (without co-authors) .
 
We do not charge a fee for submitting an article. If the manuscript is rejected at the pre-screening or review stage, the author pays nothing.
