The Journal of Martial Arts adheres to the Gold Open Access policy. This means that all articles become available to readers in full immediately after publication.
We support the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which aims to promote the free dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, and print full texts of articles without prior permission from the publisher or author, provided that citation rules are followed.
Licensing and copyright
The publication uses the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license .
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
This license allows others to distribute the article with the obligatory indication of authorship and the original source (link to the DOI of the article in the journal "Martial arts").
Archiving
To ensure constant access to scientific works and their preservation in the event of the termination of the journal's activities, the editorial board uses the following tools:
PKP Preservation Network: The journal uses the PKP-PN system to create a decentralized archiving system. PKP-PN uses LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) software to digitally preserve the journal's content. This ensures that every published article is preserved in a network of partner libraries around the world.
International repositories: All journal issues are uploaded to Zenodo, a universal open access scientific repository created by CERN and the OpenAIRE project. The platform supports the principles of open science.
Each article is assigned a DOI from the Crossref agency, which guarantees link stability regardless of changes in the site structure.
We encourage authors to post published PDFs of articles on professional networks (ResearchGate, Academia.edu) and personal profiles.
Self-archiving policy
The editorial board of the journal "Edynoborstva" supports the free dissemination of scientific knowledge. The publisher allows the author to store (deposit) the final version of the article in an institutional or thematic repository, where it is available in open access, which ensures maximum visibility and impact of the publication.
We recommend that authors indicate a link to the original publication via DOI when depositing.
