Abstract

The manual “Developing the Strengths of Social Work Clients” by Tetyana Semigina and Olga Stoliaryk was published in 2024 (Semigina & Stoliaryk, 2024). It is a thorough understanding of the concept focused on the strengths of clients in social work and challenges existing domestic professional practices. After all, paternalistic practices and assessment of client dysfunctions, rather than their resources, potential, and strengths, are widespread in Ukraine.
