Television information measurement systems for linear dimension measuring

The article analyzes the problem of measurement accuracy of linear dimensions by means of television measurement.
It is shown that the space-frequency approach provides most reliable estimation of measurement error, and the probabilistic approach can reduce the maximum error of measurement of linear dimensions on order of magnitude without changing the structure and components of optoelectronic circuits of television information-measuring systems.
Spatial frequency approach in case using actual values of input contrast and complexity of the formation of the signal allows to obtain the most reliable estimates of measurement error.
Additive noise of television devices in the range of linearity was experimentally established. Accuracy of linear dimensions can be increased by a special technique of signal formation by pixels of CCD
