Abstract

The given article is devoted to the issue on the project-oriental university. Today’s higher educational institutions are much close to commercial organizations, therefore they shall use modern concepts practically in full amount, i.e. strategies management and project management. Retrospective of higher educational institutions commercialization has been performed, existent approaches to create organizational structures of institutions’ project management have been analyzed. Current state of university project activity has been investigated. It has been identified that a project approach is partially used in university scientific activity, though in practice relevant theoretical base is not available. Basic directions of project -oriented university formation have been identified stakeholders, has cents of various institution projects are  stated, effects resulted from use of project mythology in particular sphere have been calculated . It has been proved that project due to each particular direction can bear a character of development or can appear as a form of current activity organization.
