Abstract

The article outlines the data of experimental and theoretical studies of the excited state parameters, as well as the conditions of their applicability, allowing estimation of operability of liquid-propellant rocket engine according to high-frequency stability of processes occurring in the combustion chamber at launch.

Informativity of the maximum amplitudes in the frequency bands was estimated on the basis of comparison of their values obtained in tests of some of samples of engines 8D518 and 11D613, which have been damaged due to the high-frequency instability of the working process at launch, and during the tests of engine samples, stable at this mode.

The data on the maximum amplitudes used during the estimation were obtained when processing the magnetic recordings of vibrooverloads in the axial and radial directions, and the pressure fluctuations of fuel and oxidizer at the inlet of a nozzle. The spectral processing of the magnetic recordings was made in the range of 0,9 ÷ 4,4 kHz.

The results indicate the correspondence of the maximum amplitudes to terms of their recognition as informative, because their values obtained from testing of unstable samples of engines are significantly higher than those, which characterize the stable samples. The high level of the maximum amplitudes during unstable operation of the engines at launch is noted almost in the whole range of frequencies (frequency bands) in all four dimensions
