It is proved that using special treatment of biocompatible powder before plasma spraying consisting in fixing fine particles on major grains facilitates smoothness of porous structure, solidity, open porosity coating, and high level of its surface morphology. During the plasma spraying conducted under in the high heat, a heatspreader saves small particles from complete meltdown. When a combined particle hits the substrate, it is crushed which leads to the separation of fine particles from the coarse particles. Fine particles having a large kinetic energy are partitioned into nanometer-sized particles. Additional nanostructuring increases the strength of the coating and the contact area of contacting surfaces, i.e. implant and bone tissueReferences
